Canos and Pritchard

That there post by Chalk Hill Bitter was excellent. Got me thinking about these two.

Was super excited about signing them both. Exciting talents with good futures ahead, both performed very well at this level before.

But of course, we then failed to sign a quality striker that offers "something different", ditto any defensive reinforcement.

So you'd have to look at that £10m or so that we spent (plus wages) on em and say that we got that pretty wrong. Really should have spent on a striker/CB instead. Doubly so when you now look at the minutes they've played, how short we are of a plan b up front, the lamentable nature of our defence (and some of the individual performances within it) and quite how well Madders is doing oop north.
