Took Mrs canary_wharf there for wedding anniversary meal after Preston match, not having been for some years.
Excellent evening, good food well cooked, but thankfully without the 'wow' factor you get in trendy restaurants but turn out to be bland and too small.
The recipes are in her book 'Delia's Winter Collection'.
Main thing is that you get a sense of occasion, not just going out for a meal.
