In my opinion.

We were no better or worse in either half, we just happened to concede twice in the 2nd half.

They could quite easily have scored two in the first half had James Milner not made a WORLD CLASS save to his right or one of their dangerous low crosses fallen more luckily for them (see Newcastle's late goals).

We didn't dominate either half. Apart from having 48 corners (they had about 45 by the way) and the odd glancing header, I don't remember a chance in the first half.

Football really is fine margins and its easy to look at goals as the only indicator of performance.
