outrageous - I had similar with a contract for TV channels I never asked for or wanted

I had no joy through the normal means for the reasons you say, so I tracked down the name of the company VP and phoned him up directly and it was fixed within 5 minutes.

Those guys don't like being hassled by irate members of the public and will act to make it stop
