There was new evidence in both cases, sufficient in her case to convince the Court of Appeal (nb - not a jury) that the conviction was unsafe, and in Ched's case first to convince the CA to allow a retrial, and second to convince a jury he wasn't guilty
I see you have no answer to the question of whether a man who had done years in prison for something new evidence has shown him not to have done can possibly be said not to have been the victim of a miscarriage of justice
And sadly it will be famous
