If someone does 2.5 years inside for something that it turns out they didn't do and they always said they didn't do, are you seriously saying that that's not a miscarriage of justice????
Take the Sally Clark case. She was convicted of killing her sons. It wasn't that she was "convicted for serious crimes committed by others" - it was actually that on a reassessment of the evidence, it was ultimately held that no-one had killed her sons. The parallel is obvious, I hope.
