#Slovenia Facts

First up, I flippin' love Slovenia/Slovenija whatever, it's sort of ditched all the old school communist s**te and had a right old good dip into the EU coffers and it is, f**king bang tidy. Infrastructure is sexy as hell and even though the country is small it's not overcrowded and the scenery is really nice. Best thing of all the capital Ljublijana translates as "the loved one" got to like somewhere that comes up with that eh? Do a visit.

Slovenia loves bears, There are still over 400 Brown Bears in Slovenia and a whole lot of forest for them to hide in. In fact 60% of Slovenia is forested. Two facts for the price of one. Fact.

Also, in proper Bear news Slovenia is home to the well known Laško brew (it's a lager I'm not gonna lie to you but it's not like lager as you know it) although Slovenians call beer Pivo which I think sounds ok when you are abroad in eastern europe but doesn't translate that well here. "Two Pivo's please Dave". Nah.
