was the first time since first watching City in 1966 that I actually booed. This was at the substitution of McVeigh, our best player on the night. To bring on Jarret and Henderson in place of McVeigh was insane.
We are now 10 points from playoff but more crucially, 10 points from relegation. The way we are playing suggests we will slide further down towards relegation rather than towards the playoffs.
We still do not have a wide right player. Hughes cannot play there. Hucks is a liability wide on the left. He exposes the left back (Drury and Charlton last night) giving them no support. He has lost the ability to run at defenders.
Did anyone else see the arguing between Flem and Charlton after the third goal last night? Embarrassing.
It is a shambles.
Perhaps it is time now to get through the season and for the board to make the tough decision and accept that Worthy, although he has been great for us, has simply run his course.
