The Spanish squad for these qualifiers

If it's lacking anywhere, I guess it might be up front. But they still have Costa, Nolito, Morata. Rest of the squad is still really strong (any squad that can't find room for Mata or fabregas can't be doing badly in midfield, for example).

If by 'poor' you mean 'not as good as the team that won three tournaments in a row recently, then yes, probably. But by most other standards they've still got high quality players.
