he is not competing with Thorne, he is now competing with Earnshaw for the "nippy" striker role (surely you aren't suggesting we play McVeigh and Earnshaw up front?). My point was not that he is rubbish but that he doesn't really fit anywhere into the team - Earnshaw is a better "nippy" striker and Hucks is the preferred wide attacker/winger type (because I think it would be suicidal to play Hucks + McVeigh + 2 strikers).
