I've never seen any evidence that he would, that's why

Leon and Thorne have excellent goalscoring records - they've proved they can do it. McVeigh never has, so while I respect your opinion (I like McVeigh too) it is just speculation with no evidence to back it up. Why would he "probably" have done so as you state?
