I'd phrase it differently but we certainly are in some unpleasant times.
She's attempting to exploit the rise of nationalism it seems, in order to prolong her and her party's grip on power. Whether that's for the better is debatable given what could happen in a power vacuum, but legitimising ant-foreigner views as she's doing is a dangerous path.
Is what I think anyway.
