but he doesn't have the pace or instinct to get a lot of goals. Their respective records suggests he certainly won't get more goals than Thorne or Leon - it takes WAY more than a bit of skill to score goals. And we have played McVeigh on the right and he never does anything because a) he doesn't have the pace to get outside the full back and whip in crosses and b) if he cuts inside (which is what players with no pace always do) he is bringing the ball onto his weaker left foot. That's why his best games for us have been on the left (where he can cut inside onto his good foot). But with Hucks in the team that isn't an option. If he could "create and score for fun" why has he never really done so? He's great to watch but only sporadically effective.
