Our defence sums up our recent status as a sort of yo-yo club.

Good enough to get by in the Championship but not really good enough for the top flight. Often capable of looking solid but also prone to the most egregious, basic errors.

I can't believe we're here again bemoaning another Bassong performance and a Russ central defence performance.
