its the manner of the defeat which hurts the most

a narrow 4-3 defeat at Newcastle in different circumstances and we would be taking lots of positives from the game

but going into time added on with our noses in front shows that something is missing , good teams do not let that slip away in the manner it did last night

we can go on about the substitions but you have to question the will to win , that edge that gets teams over the line

I posted in August that though we are picking up points that something was quite right and that showed its self last
night

its not physical its not even team selection its not even in the players heads because i'm sure they were all busting a gut to win that game and new what to do and what was expected of them and they were totally sick in the dressing room afterwards

Dont ask me what is missing but its missing , the players have the talent to get us out of the league and do it easily
