I dont feel any sympathy at all. As Greg Dyke put it

'This guy is being paid around £3m a year, why was he grubbing around trying to find £400,000 from somewhere?'

He's greedy and grubby and clearly willing to bend the rules to earn a buck. People like that shouldn't be in charge of anything. I hope the Torygraph inquiry flushes out a few other turds from the game.
