I'm with you, AB and Wild Edric on this. So 4-0 among rothers in favour of un-iced

bakewell tarts. (4-1 if you include Mrs Bay.)

I'm sure bakewell tarts weren't iced when I was young. Wonder when they appeared. I think it might be something to do with cross-pollination by the cherry bakewell
