Worthy would NEVER sign him

Look at all the chances he had to lay it off to someone or even to get it in to a position to get it back to the keeper. He could SO easily have lost the ball and set up an opportunity for a counter attack. And how would we have coped with that. Worthy would say "Give me a Peter Thorne who would have played a safe ball out to Jurgen Colin who would have ......."
