I look forward to the clubs account of its sterling efforts to bring in players during the window which will obviously show how they started negotiating for Jerome/Halford as soon as they knew they had the ?7 million bid from West Ham after our cup game, and how negotiations went on throughout the two week period whilst Deano's sale was being finalised so as to ensure we were not left scratching around trying to sign people in the last few days of the window.
