Think he may well be assuming nobody else comes in for him. We know that they pretty much have to sell him as he's so out of favour I think we're just trying to save as many pounds as possible.

If not and we genuinely cant afford him then something doesnt add up. We've just made a profit of 5.5 million and surely they just want to get back what they paid for i.e 3 million.
