Get on the 'phone to Robbo and offer ?1.25 million for Koumo AND make an increased bid of ?2.35 million for Robert Earnshaw. Robbo needs the cash more today than he did yesterday as he is buying Quashie and is still considering a bid for Hasselbaink.

If there is anyone to answer the 'phone at Layer Road you'll need to get chatting! Yesterday's euphoria will to some extent have disappeared as someone recalls the fact that there are still various light bulbs to be changed around the ground and that they cost money! Whatever you have offered for Greg Halford (the Pink 'Un says ?1 million but what would they know?), ADD ?250,000 to it and Bob's your uncle!
If you don't mind making additional advance dippings into the end-of-season parachute dosh and still fancy a permanent deal for Calum Davenport then go for it!
If you really want to push the boat out then yes, us fans would also welcome an extra surprise signing as well, so long as it isn't Gray of Sunderland!
By the way, feel free to off-load any of our current first team squad (with the exception of Huckerby) should any half-decent bids come in. You see, we really are all on your side!
