I'm now onto episode 6 of game of thrones season 1

Serious question, is it a comedy? It's just so terrible.

The dwarf guy has just been released from captivity in a prison because a bloke he doesnt know had a fight vs another bloke he doesn't know and his bloke won. WTF.

The king is one of the least convincing actors I've ever seen. Home and away had better actors.

Talking of Aussie soaps, the background to some of the scenes reminds me of when neighbours filmed scenes on the doorstep and they put a fake street scene behind. Awful. Does the budget improve things as it goes on?

When does it start getting good and worthy of 6 seasons and huge acclaim?
