Seems much that doesn't add up for me, any answers?

Firstly it seems to be a large majority who believe we didn't spend enough or wisely in the summer. If that's the case why did we only start to look certs for relegation after the big signings in January? Was it all down to losing Tettey?
Secondly, if the problem is down to lack of business in the summer then surely it's only right that DMcN should take responsibility or is it the scouting staff who should ultimately be held to account?
Finally, if it all went wrong after Jan and the big spending are we being too lenient on the manager (myself included) and does he have to take more of the flack?
