Not playing with a 'proper' striker

Could we use a combo of Redmond, Brady and Naismith all buzzing around from wide and the middle, swapping sides, cutting in, making runs, overloading a flank etc with supply coming from say Wes, O'Neil and Dorrans, who stay more central and deeper? Proper width maintained by our pacey fullbacks.
