Why do so many people think we need a complete overhaul this summer if we go down?

Surely that would be a far more risky approach to take.

Ok probably Naismith, Klose (although I live in (probably vain) hope that he's the type to stick around for a bit and try and help us get back up) and Redmond will go maybe Brady and one of Tettey/Olsson too but the rest of the squad is proven to be top quality at that level and if supplemented by a couple of decent additions, one of which I hope we already have in Madison plus you'd have to hope Josh Murphy may be ready for more regular first team action as a replacement for Redmond.

I think it would madness to embark on some kind of wholesale dismantling of the squad. Its quite conceivable that aside from Redmond the whole of the team that played against Arsenal and Man U in the last two matches would still be with us and we played pretty well at Arsenal and were not exactly outplayed by United.

We can even "get away" with playing Martin at CB in the championship if we absolutely have to!
