Why 'the bonus' was relevant.

Unquestionably McNally did a good job however in the year we were relegated he was paid a bonus which presumably was based on our financial results and not on pitch success. Now if you're Lambert or AN being told you can't match top player wages, how does that look to them when the CEO is being paid at a top ten Premiership CEO level? I'm not arguing whether he was worth it or not, I'm just saying that I do think it relevant to question it.
