Did a lot of good but also a lot of bad and is not a nice person by all accounts. Think the time is right for him to go however the manner in which it has come about sums up the club at the moment.
The way he has handled this resignation personally is very poor. A clear example of how twitter and social media can be an absolute car crash waiting to happen when used either emotionally or drunk (and I assume he was both on saturday night).
Just listening to radio Norfolk and there is a number of calls/texts coming in saying he was too controlled by the board. This could not be further from the truth. He had complete control of the club and was unaccountable a lot of the time which ultimately created a distasteful atmosphere for many within the club. His ego got ever bigger the more Michael and Delia gave him carte blanche to run the club as he saw fit.
Thanks for the good bits David. You oversaw some great times at Carrow Road such as the back to back promotions which will live with us for ever.
Only me guessing but the resignation of Bowkett earlier in the season and the sudden nature of the Mcnally resignation does make me wonder whether there is big problems behind the scenes with regards to the direction the club is going in ie. new investment, Alex Neil's future, the appointment of the nephew, Ed Balls etc
Time to start a fresh now for NCFC. We need to appoint from outside and not just go for the cheap option.
Employees, players and managers etc come and go. The fans stay forever. The club is bigger than any one person.
