I can't really think of a worse replacement for Ashton than Earnshaw

because of the style of football our manager plays.

The only way I see him fitting into our side is to play alongside Thorne, not through merit, but because he's the only striker we have that can play as a target man until Leon comes back.

I think Earnshaw would be an excellent player to have in our squad for a new manager to inherit however.
