Hillsborough documentary last night

Interesting finding from the Taylor investigations that it would have taken til 3.40 for all the fans to get in through the turnstiles at the rate they were going in if they hadn't opened the gate.

How did they avoid such a shambles at other semis or sell out matches? I saw some footage from the 82 semi with Spurs fans having to climb the fences at the same end so maybe it was the same?
