I think it's clear he has a confrontational and uncompromising style

What is open to debate is how well that has served us in more recent times. One thing I do feel with him is that we don't get our pants pulled down in negotiations these days but o have geard from more than one source that some agents have issues with our club and you wonder if that has hindered recruitment.
