And as I recall, the plan was to be established in the

Premier league at the end of the 7 years. Fail. Financially
the club is in great shape due to the huge influx of TV money. Football wise the infrastructure of the club is not good. And that's McNally's responsibility as CEO. He deserves criticism. It's just so naive to think the club can actually compete without being superior at the margins other than wage levels. This is the CEO's mandate and I'm not seeing where he's advanced the ball.
