Ha - hardly

I have complained about the show sexing up the books in the past (to the extent of making a consensual act (Dany/Drogo) in the books into what was clearly a rape on the show). The relative absence of bewbage so far this season is a Good Thing.

However, in terms of portrayal of sexual violence, it is still much tamer than historical England (or historical anywhere, really). Most "period" pieces gloss over this aspect, to the extent that (for example) a psychopath like Henry VIII is viewed as a bit of a laugh. I don't think his contemporaries, the fathers of all the girls he decided to "take" or indeed most of his wives saw him that way.
