To do that they will have to change they way they operate

Chelsea wont ever be as big a brand as Man Utd globally. To make a profit they will have to stop paying over the odds for players and then stop buying players just to prevent other clubs from having them.

When they start to buy and sell like any other club they will then start to see their results suffer. Chelsea have spent 250m on players in a few years. They would probably need to cut that by 70% to start making some money. Lets see how they fare in the league then.
