I was there too...

Remember it taking an age to get there, got in VP at 2.50 and couldn't get anywhere near the Holte end so ended low down in the adjacent corner. The game was a horror, really bad. My biggest memory was wondering why YNWA was being sung (no radio with us) and the b*****d WM Police throwing anyone who swore out of the ground. Oh and a group of ungracious Everton fans slagging off their Liverpool counterparts when we found out what had happened as we walked back to the car. So much for Scouse solidarity.
