Although the incident itself was an accident

Caused by people making poor decisions under pressure.

It's the subsequent cover up that has left us where we are today.

It's the lying that disgusts me, not the actions on the day. People make mistakes. To not hold their hands up and to blame the very people that suffered is truly disgraceful.
