Many thanks for your post but don't worry the persistent sniping from a clique on here does not bother me. It's a bit like modern politics where supposed liberals call for opponents to be banned for spouting views they don't agree with and when that fails resort to branding them with various insults.

Ironically the reason o get frustrated when we waste opportunities (as we are in danger of doing this season) is because I believe in our club and that it is capable of doing more. In a strange way I think that probably makes me an optimist rather than a pessimist but there you go.

This is not a day to get into a debate over the post that seems to have got people's backs up over the weekend but I can assure people it has nothing to do with the event due to be reported on today and everything to do with the fact we were one of the most affected clubs by another previous event involving said club. If people take offence though I won't use the term on here any more and apologise.
