No, its not - but in many respects it's clutching at straws
Hoping that Stoke will feel suitably embarrassed by three successive heavy defeats and want to put it right against Sunderland; hoping that Pardew, Cabaye and Wickham all have a point to prove at Newcastle, hoping Aston Villa will at least want to put on a show for their long suffering fans in their final Premier League game at Villa Park.
As i say, desperately clutching at straws.
