what nostalgic nonsense

in the 70s and 80s the anger around football manifested itself much more readily in hooliganism, racism, violence and criminal damage.

Now it manifests itself mostly in the form of keyboard warriors on the internet and angry ranters on radio phone-ins.

Certainly a change for the better overall.
