Interesting that if we get relegated this season, both relegation seasons

we had managers trying to replace Wes. Hughton thought Fer was the answer and AN thinks Naismith is.

It's this fatal mistake, money being siphoned off to replace an irreplaceable player that will cause another relegation. The focus should have been on improving the other areas of the team. But oh no, both times the club was looking for a non-existent upgrade. Hughton excluded him for basically the whole season and Alex Neil began tinkering with Wes's position ever since Naismith arrived, shunting him left and right to accommodate his 7 million signing. When will managers learn that we need Wes to play passing football and have better control of games. Lambert knew this and in order to accommodate him and two strikers built a diamond formation.

Let's hope the Naismith experiment is well and truly over and we can get back to trying to pass the ball with Wes in the side.
