Hence the likes of Jarvis, O'Neill, Howson and for most of the season, Martin and Jerome never get dropped but don't really offer any real spark.

The few players we have who can create something from nothing - Redmond, Vadis, Lafferty and Hooper don't/didn't get the same luxury.
