Is it a coincidence Bassong has been relegated from the Prem so many times?

I've been banging on about how poor I think Bassong is, he does have a good game in him but I don't think his concentration levels are nowhere good enough. To have a successful defence the centre backs need a good working relationship. Klose and Bennett seem to compliment each other and with those 2 at the back our results are certainly better.
