Perhaps you haven't realised, but in a country where 90% of the population lives in poverty, only a tiny minority gain a decent education and an even tinier proportion make it to the closest university, which in some cases can be several hundred miles away from the remote jungles and mountains where they live

or did you think they just remained ignorant out of laziness?
