Terry Allcock missed a penalty against Gordon Banks. He told me years later he was playing with a broken toe and was given pain killers before and at halftime. My friend and I were in the ground at 1230. Climbed the pylon in the river end and at the end had to be lifted down because we couldn't move our legs as we'd been sitting astride the metal stanchion for so long!
