I was born in Norwich (Costessey), but we moved up to Lincolnshire (Boston and then Lincoln), but visited family regularly. My Uncle Richard who lived in Norfolk was the most enthusiastic football fan in the family and went regularly to CR. He took me to my first game: THAT Palace game at the end of the 72/73 season when Stringer headed a very late winner to keep us up.
