Never occured to me, as a young lad, that supporting another team was a possibility.

No great familial influence - neither parents big City fans, and while both my elder brothers went up the barclay regularly, they only really went for the beer and fighting (this was the late 70s early 80s) not to arsed about City..

I can't remember how old I was at my first match, but I think I would have been about 7 or 8. I remember it was terracing, and remember being s**t scared when we scored (my feet couldn't reach the ground) but can't remember the oppo or score. I know we scored twice.
