If the club doesn't sign anybody when the transfer window closes..

How do you think it should be viewed

1 Worthless and the board have decided the current group of players will hold mid table and spend it during the summer for an assault next August

2 The board don't trust Worthless and have with held the money hoping that Worthless will walk and any new manager will be attracted by a reasonable (at this level) war chest

or 3 the club just couldn't get the players they wanted or persuade them to come to NCFC
