Would someone care to tell me why we had to sell Deano?

This seems to be the question which has been avoided by the baord. I fully understand about ambition of the player etc but what about ambition of the club and the fans who pay the money, doesn't that count? As for what they call silly money we would have to agree to differ. I think 7 million was a fair price especially when we now have to tralw the markets for a similar or better player. Effectively the baord have said OK this seaon is over especially when we were maybe, just maybe getting better.
