I said it was a number of things - 1) they've got a better squad than a lot give credit for, both in the players from last season, and in some of this season's additions, and, just as important, if not more important, 2) they're not going into every game thinking, "Well, chances are we'll lose, so anything we get will be a bonus". I know City weren't like that 100% of the time last season, but that seemed to be the attitude for the majority of matches. See for example Blackburn at home: go 1-0 up, "Right lads, that'll do, we'll never score another, sit back and hang onto that lead."
