If you want to turn up to be entertained unconditionally, go to the pictures.

If you want to do your bit to help the club, go to the football.

Don't go to the football, sit and moan all game, then complain that the atmosphere was s**t and the team had no inspiration. Cos that's partly the fans' fault.
