Ashton didn't seem to belong at City. Don't know why but it seemed to me that we were just a stop gap in his career. They were hardly queuing up to sign him ahead of us were they? There just seemed to be no passion in the lads game. When he scored he would give the odd jump & an hooray. Others you see getting booked for their celebrations, not him. Well now maybe the ?25k a week from West Ham may cheer him up? I personally don't see him as such a great loss to the team. ( not sour grapes ). The most important thing is that he gets replaced with quality. Problem being that Worthless will totally f**k up spending the money on another pile of crap... I just hope that anyone that does come actually WANTS to play for us & not be a moody t**t like Ashton clearly was. Anyway rant over....
